I'm not trying to hijack this thread but the Checkmate has been sold.

Not to thread high jack but the Check was an older design and not as fast as some other boats with 700's, that maybe part of the reason it took awhile to sell, someone got a great deal.

I'm sure the RFM 43 will be state of the art and thus someone will pay the cost. Not to stir the pot but hopefully it runs 153mph or better in a mile, lol

I thought for sure that the checkmate 43 punisher "chief apache mold" would have sold in a week for the LOW 399k asking price! Mercury 700 boats from other brands in the 40' range retail at 5-600k. I wish I would have noticed when they lowered the price though!

Happy for my friends that bought it a couple weeks ago though!

800k Is right in the range compared to others for retail price, the rendering looks good. I love the Quarter Canopy.

I wish GTMM, Magnum Marine GT, would have kept the 39 Dragon like that. Especially at these Higher speeds these boats reach with those sweet 1350's!

Good Luck RF Marine!

I am looking forward to watching the build process. Reggie III does a great job of updating us on what's going on in the shop. I hope he plans to do the same as the new 43 gets built.
