:confused:I don't understand the answers rattle???Big water honey it's windy and rough out in the Ocean!!But we can go because guy on OSO said our boat brand will do it????Stop!I Go out and pour 1000 lbs of concrete in my Fountain to get less pounding? If that's your reason buy a pleasure boat!Apache Cigarette,OL??We go in big water who wants to???Buy what you like forget the cheerleaders no truth at all in what they post speeds included!I like fastest with the least amount of power aka stock mercruiser power!Volicity&Fountain I think are the top 2??????????????
The reality is that I bet very few of us on here use their boat where the ride difference matters.

Honestly a cig 38 is a huge boat compared to a 38 Lightning.Depends on what you like to trailer if you don't live on a lake. I would say a more pound for pound comparison would be a 42 fountain. ( 4 feet of beak and swimdeck). Also I would say Apache would be a better comparison to a Cig for big water. I have knot owned other than fountain offshore boats. But I have no rattles you speak of And I am patial to light boats myself I like the flying feeling.
