Tim you are 100% right on.......just remember someone was inquiring about the price (40K) before it was listed in the classifieds so my comment about being 1/3 of what Phil would charge was intended to indicate the price of the boat not the quality of Phil's work (which is awesome).

You just have to wonder if the guy that spends 40K on this will have less fun with this boat than spending another 60-80-100K on one of Phil's creations......

Gotcha.. I'm sure the 40k boat would be just as fun. Like I said, they did a great job with it, no doubt. I'm sure somebody will be very happy with it.

Looks awesome! I can't wait until I find the right deal on one to build.

As a current owner of 20' Cigarette and after 100's of hours of seat time in 330 TRS and 425HP powered 20's these boat are a great deal of fun. The boats are built like a tank and they respond better with more power. I strongly recommend hydraulic steering and a tight gimbal housing. I believe the difference in the 40k boat and 200k is more power and higher end components. They are both awesome boats but the 200k, 20 foot Cigarette is out of reach for most enthusiast. I am confident anyone that picks up the 40k Cigarette will not need Viagra. These boats are like throughbred race horses and you better lock yourself in the drivers seat, with 1 leg on the footrest and the other on the foot throttle with both hands tight on the steering wheel because you are going to have a wild ride. I have not met a current or previous owner of a 20' Cigarette that would not tell you that they are awesome boats and always put a big smile on their face after taking one for a quick ride.
