(speedos LIE):evilb:

I have a friend with a 22' Crownline that insists he runs 96mph even after I went around him with my foot on the dash running in the 70's . Pro charged 454 mag 1" Imco shorty . No gps just happy meter . Forgot to add he had 5 grown men in the boat on one of the 96mph runs......hmmmmm .

Every spring I run mine at the lake a couple miles down the road from my house. A few years back a rather rotund woman screeched " why does your boat have to be so big?" As I realized that I really just heard this, I saw that she was leaning against the NO FISHING sign on the dock of the boat launch. With a line in the water! I told her I had a little d**k. She left immediately!!

I was backing down the ramp at a little lake close to the house (Dillon Lake) and as I was backing the trailer in a guy walks up beside my window and asks if I'm going to put that boat on this lake. Really dude?

The one comment/question that I do get all the time is "what year is that?". When I tell them it's an old dinosaur, that it's a '91, they are like "wow that thing is beautiful for it's age". Gotta love those old school Fountains, they still look good.

I get that too...I tell boaters its an '89 and even they cant believe it....the new trailer helps

The gas fills on my boat and the truck are on the same side. It really blows them away when I go to my gas station and fill up the boat and the truck with two pumps running at the same time! lol. Then the "Whoa I wouldnt want that bill!" and "What do you do for a living man!?" comments start coming out. Ive had people stop, back up and take pics with their phones and all kinds of s hit.

The best one was we were out of the truck waiting at the launch ramp, beautiful hot day Susi is running around in her bikini getting stuff out of the truck. This guy about 40 or so comes up and were talking about the boat, nice guy. Out of the corner of my eye I see this smokin hot chick with a great set of bolt on's, a black bikini and long jet black hair walking our way with two ice cream cones....Im trying to check her out while were talking.....then she comes right up and hands the guy one of the ice cream cones, its the guys wife,gf, whatever wow!....Then the guy starts to walk away and says "Ok man, we gotta get going, nice boat!" His wife then leans in real close to me and says in my ear "mmmmmmm nice wife!" and they take off.....I almost did something indecent right there! Daymmm!...I kept my eye out for them in the public park around the ramp to ask them if they wanted a "ride" haha but I never seen them again

Early this season I had some straight-up ghetto rats pull up behind the AT...stereo bumpin', chrome-plated dubs on a beat-ass car, flat brims and saggy pants...that POLITELY ask if they could take pictures of my boat. They got out of the car and a couple of them posed by the transom and took pics...I just stayed out of the shots to complete the illusion that it was theirs. They thanked me and said have a good day. So not ALL people are stoooooopid....

I just had to do a double take at your picture! Your wife looks just like my girlfriend only with shorter hair, not kidding!

Similar.

A guy asked me if I fished with my boat. I said no. He asked if I pulled skiers. I said no. He said "then what DO you do with that boat? I said "haul ass".

My boat certainly isn't the rough water machine that many here are, but I have also had people tell me how their smaller boat is just as fast or faster. I tell them to bring it to LOTO on a summer weekend to show me. No takers yet.
