the best question ive got yet is " does that thing go under water?" been asked this twice at Arkansas gas stations.

the other good one was a toll booth in Pennsylvania a lady ask "are you guys on some sort of rescue mission?"

after reading this thread and having a couple of good laughs I can only conclude that most people are idiots, oh wait I already knew that.

I get the typical gas and speed questions, but the best was this summer at the dock at St. Clements island. My fiancé and I come in to see the church, and it's all fishing boats and jet skis. 2 very nice, but not so smart gentleman grab our dock lines and tie us up. They ask about the motor, I say it's a 548 ci Chevy. They look confused, horsepower? About 700. Then the younger guy proceeds to tell me about the eleventh thousand horsepower small block he is building for his caravelle, that's nice, that's my boat in the water that I drove here, good luck with your build. We leave, he tries to run me on his jet ski and fails miserably.

I've been told that's nothing but a big ol boat that a Skeeter or his jet ski can beat . Told him I don't waste my time or fuel racing lake lice and if I do see you in front of me your going to the meat grinder . :angry-smiley-038:

Had 5 different people ask if it even has a muffler. They were all sailboaters........go figure

"How much does that hold?" 300... "Wow i thought $50 was bad." No 300 gallons... "How long does that last, most of the summer?" Hopefully all afternoon...
