Spray on's give a good shine, but I think that is about it. As far as protection, I wouldn't trust it as a primary source. If you wax and buff then use it as a in between type of thing; I guess it is okay. I probably wouldn't put on more than one coat either, just enough to keep the shine strong...For some reason, I don't care for the spray on's at all....

I will throw my 2cents in for "Dri-wash and guard" not a wax but a good polish. No need to wash the boat it will take all the crap off from the sea, including the black from the exhaust. Simple to use just like the others spray and wipe. Works great and leaves a very nice shine. http://dri-wash.com/

Turtle wax also makes a great spray wax for those quik touch ups, I use it all the time.

A good wax to use we found out is ducky detailer . It comes in wax@ cleaner . The cleaner is good for spider droppings.The wax shines up good.

I'm just looking for the between waxes shine, I bought an orbital earlier this year and wax it coming into and out of the season.
