Default 1994 Convincor 253 value?

Hi Guys, I'm new to the performance boat world and was considering a few boats in the 26-29 ft range. Right now Im looking at a 94 253 convincor with low hrs, the owner is asking 18k and the nada value is around 11k. What would be a fair price for this boat at this time of year? Also any other boats in this size worth considering? Thanks!

i'd say in the 15k range depending on how clean it is, but he is not far off, as far as others, if your wiling to spend 20k ish a Formula 271, also a 24/25 baja is alotta bang for buck

Better to travel for the right boat, then buy the wrong boat because it was near by. Just my 2cents. Having traveled the US for my last 7 boats.....lol. Make a good choice.

Ive traveled 14 and 12 hours respectively for my last two boats, first boat was 4 hours away, 271 is a better boat but with same power 2-5 mph slower, better built and better resale,

If unsure, see if there are any fellow OSO members that own a boat of your interest sure they would be willing to show and help ya out,

make sure that you are including the price of a trailer, if he has one with it!
NADA does not put that in thier pricing.
I have had a few people bicker with me about the pricing on my boat because of this!!
Last one would not pay a dime over such and such amount. I asked him how long it would be for him to acquire a trailer to transport it home!
Then he finally realised that the trailer is NOT part of the boat pricing but it is included in MY pricing!
He still walked because he could not come up with the $$

Thanks for the help guys! That nada value of the 1994 253 convincor was $9400 plus another 2k for the trailer. That's why I was asking if anybody uses it because it seems that the nada values are off by quite a bit.
