I boated on the Kankakee and Illinois river, the water in this pic is definitely out on Lake Michigan not on the river. What I remember about the water on the Kankakee was that is was NASTY.

I think it would be wise for me to be a passenger in ones boat. This way I would be familiarized with the river seeing that I've never boated it before.

LOL nope don't think I would forget that ride!!

I think it would be cool to puck a weekend to get a lot if power boats to take over the river!! Prob Morris side as there are hotel rooms not far away..... And most times when your on the river ya finish you day/night up with a few cocktails!!

Just take it slow... And remember don't go where you have not seen a boat your size or bigger go before. Tie up talk to the locals they will help ya out!

Floating in the Illinois down by the LaGrange lock South of Beardstown. I believe I could see all the way down to my nipples!
