The boat was parked in Key West near A&B Lobster House right in the front row. Looked fine.

Reports are saying that a person resembling Michael Vick was messing with the hatch locks cause he thought the boat was Eli's :lolhit:

In Wisconsin we would have just assumed it all started with "hey hold my beer and watch dis".

That's going to suck!

Hello folks. thought I would dispel some goofy half truths. First of all, I would Like Stu for a great time at Key WEST Great week! Now to the boat. Yes safety hatch is above water line. In a lake or calm water. Not 4 to 6 seas. Every time we tried to slow down we started to take on water. SO obviously we blew a hatch. happens.... As for a salvage tow. This was not close. We ran under the Bahia Honda Bridge from 5 miles out and simply waited to see some sand. MY THROTTLE man and I saw the beach and ran the boat at a fast speed cut the motors and I ended up stepping off the boat in 8 inches of water..Boat has no damage at all except a few minor scratches on bottom. Minor scratches. No prop damage or drive damage. We called a crane from key west lifted the boat onto the trailer and it is at tnt. I was in NJ. by ten last evening. I might add that Tom H. did a great job keeping his cool as did my two sons and Mike from Marine unlimited. This boat is a wonderful boat and runs like I could have never imagined. We love it. Very Very fast and super stable.. We had a great week and would love to thank Randy Scism And David Wood for Making this boat happen. Also would love the folks at sunshine key for their gracious help soda lemonaide and and great conversation. Brad Benson

Nice! Glad you came out of it relatively trouble free, it certainly could have ended differently!

You could of at least thrown in something about Somali pirates trying to take over the boat and you had to break open the hatch and wrestle all 17 out that way. Glad all went well but that was kind of a boring tale ;)

Hopefully there will not be a next time .....but if so........... :lolhit:
