this might be the shape of things to come from Doug Wright.
I'm guessing that the 53 race cat shall also receive some variation of this Safety Cell (currently in the DW32 racing cat) to help protect the racers:

Just FYI, DougWright (High Tech Composites) moved to a newer bigger shop in Melbourne Fl.
Also upgraded their CNC machine to a bigger and badder CNC. Able to handle 55+ foot monster speed boats and yachts.
Production is backed up for 6 months. On the works is a 48 foot V-hull, (3) 32 foot DW cats, a 28 foot cat, and a 42 footer.
The 53' cat is in the back-burner for now.
