My first set lasted 9+ seasons before I drove over one and snapped it. (Always take the lines off your cleats before you pull the boat up the ramp!) They were still in fine shape, but now I was "short" one and non-uniformity pisses me off.
Those lines are now a set of 5; 5/8" lines (was 6!) which have not faded, but the braid is a bit looser and they catch more splinters on wood pilings. They were always that way, but time has made them ever so slightly looser. They still look great.
I have pretty big cleats on my boat; and never really had an issue with 5/8" lines, but they don't work too well with smaller cleats.
I just bought another set of 6; 1/2" lines which have a tighter braid; less likely to pick up splinters.
I recommend the 1/2" lines.
I keep both sets on the big boat; and use the old ones for crappy docks and pilings.
Best part is I always come home with all of my dock lines.

Not once, but TWICE in my boating career I've done this. Let's hope that was enough.
First time was solid cleat on my old Sonic; no real issue.
Second time was on the monster pull up cleat on the AT, and it deflected a bit. I pulled it and coaxed it back into original form and it's fine. I'd expect the fiberglass to give before cleats, but fortunately I've had solid boats.
I am sure a few other brands would not have fared so well.

You need to get repaired before you think about hopping around boats, hope you're doing better.

I came across this 47 with something for the anchor... not sure what it is or where you get it...
