I couldn't afford to boat 12 months out of the year!
I'm with Kurt & Sommer, as long as it snows, there is plenty to do!

Blistering hot tar roofs and freezing building rooftops with no heat. And not too mention my constant side jobs for residential that always take up my whole summer. I understand, I worked in land development in the midwest for thirty years and had to deal with the crappy winters and rainy springs and hated every day of it, trying to move dirt and grade or pour concrete streets in Nov-march was a focker, so when i had a chance to cash out and get away from the slop of the snow/ice/rain, I was gone, after 50 years of fighting that crappy weather I was done, Now everyday I wake up and look outside I thank god that we were able to move down here fulltime, hope you get a chance to find out someday, stay warm.

That is ironic and I have heard it over and over from friends that own a sled.

OTOH, if you live in a particular climate you can use a Jet ski all year round and get the same or similar thrills of a sled....with almost unlimited "trails without boundaries" and no big hot bulky suits etc..LOL Heck, I see couples taking Jet Skis to dinner and such in the evenings all the time, all year long.

I will say that some of the most fun Winter vacations I have had over the years have always included some days spent on a sled. After those day long rentals I had so much fun that I have always looked at buying one afterwards...but my friends always smacked me in the head and said don't be silly, you will spend most (if not all) of the time looking at it in your garage...BTW, this was before I moved to FL, duh!

Cheers,

Dave
