Not attacking anyone or their property. I dont really understand why you come on here calling people names as well. Its all pretty ironic actually, very few on this board much less theis thread have or ever will have a boat that will run 150 or better. Not sure and dont really care who you THINK made you the regulator of peoples thoughts and words but I would give it a rest. Im done with my comment to you, if you have anything else to say to be smartazz you can pm me or call. On to the topic about this great boat and boats in general!

Oh and as for Summer Obsession- do you really think to this day anyone has done more R&D then Fountain? Ha... Fountain put his effort in on speed!! OL put their efforts more into the overall boat!! I'll admit that OL builds a NICER boat!! Just not a FASTER boat!! And yes I know you weirdos will still remind me that OL is the only one building boats now!! Ya I get it!!
I only bringnthat little tidbit of info up in order to offer an explanation to the rabid Fountain fans as to why OL would choose not to spend millions on a race boat just for an ego stroke.
That said, I bet theybwould certainly SELL one to somebody willing to foot the bill!
Hey I have no dog in this hunt, I'm a cat guy. Faster than BOTH Fountain and OL!!

I've never been a Fountain fan at all but Reggie did great things for this sport and so is his Son. As far as I know, they are currently working on a new 43 footer so I guess we will see how it turns out. I love OL and what they have been doing. Pretty impressive considering the economy in which they have done it.

Not taking it personally at all. Just annoying when people have an opinion about a game they don't have chips in. If someone wants to say something positive, thats awesome. But for the people that don't even have a boat to weigh in against another, well thats a smack talking and i get the fun we all have with that sometimes but when I didn't have a boat at all, i would be the last guy to blast someone that worked hard and bought one.I worked my ass off to get the things i own and ill be dam if someone is gonna blast me for my accomplishments. Especially some one that probably still lives with his mom. If they only realized how stupid they looked. Like the guy in a 24 ft outlaw watching a poker run wiz by him and say… those boats suck.. Id have a Fountain. Instead of admiring the sport for what it is. Oh and I don't follow or care about professional sports.

An outerlimits sv 29 pleasure version runs 101 with a 600sci merc. How fast is a 29 fountain? ( I really don't know the answer to this question)
42 fountain runs. 103-104 with 700 ( correct me if I'm wrong). SL44 outerlimits 109mph, and that's loaded with a cabin and all. A 42 legacy runs 105 and is twice the size of a 42 fountain. How fast is a 42 with similar power?
How fast is a 38 fountain with 525? I personally know of a 2005 39 outerlimits that went 95mph with fresh 525's.
OL has gone head to head with fountain in SVL and absolutley dominated. They event went heads up at LOTO and the OL walked the fountain.
These are all facts and of course honest questions. Curious to see the actual comparisons.
