Did anyone take a run at the F1 record?

F1-44 Team BRE attempted the Kilo, but the boat just didn't want to get out of the water. We averaged 82.9?? with the 25 Warlock. The boat seams to need a little chop to get it to come alive. The ironic thing is we saw better speeds during the race when the water was chopy. Testing we have seen 86+ with that boat and were dissapointed with the KIlo results, but the win on Saturday made up for it.

I guess the 86.215 we posted in N.C. will hold for this year at least.

Default Supercat record

They changed the engines since last year, now making less HP. So all other records are obsolete. I saw Dirty Duck at the Lake before Clevland and I will say they were difinetly hooked up! Congrats. Just out of curiosity, I know Critical lift is fast, did they try the kilo? We didn't try it at Savanah because of the heat and I was new in the boat but with Gary back in the throttle seat I thought they would go for it.

That was also not an official UIM World Kilo record.
The official World record was set by the VR1 team, (Steve Kildahl?) in Savanah.
