No offense taken WaterWitch688... Welcome to the board. You have any pics of your boat to share with us?

Sharkey: I would rather not part it out.
Catmando: My boat is not black, the pics don't do it justice, it is purple and does not generate heat. I was barefoot across the deck w/ no problems.

I know how you feel. I don't know how many people I turned away that just wanted the power. Finally I got a # in my head for the engine and the buyer showed up with cash... Deep down I really didn't want to sell a 13 footer w/100 HP on it anyway. I didn't want the liability. I figured it would have made it an easier sell without it. Sure enough, the boat sold the very next day.......

Two K's - Definitely watched the tape! Thanks again.

Glad to hear about your exhaust. Are you still interested in my switchable tips? If not I'm probably going to put them on eBay. I need some $$$'s to re-invest in the boat.

Catmando, I'm no expert on paint so I can't say. I can just tell you from experience that I've had no such heat problems. I've walked across the deck many a hot day bare footed. If it doesn't sell, I'm planning on repainting it. The decision is whether to stay w/ a purple base or go white. Ric

Yeah. I'm also thinking of sticking w/ the purple base and work on some graphics. The gelcoat is also purple so I fear going white.

Jeff I'll call you this week and discuss the tips.Rex marine is supposed to call me within a couple of days to tell me their shipping. I dont know where the pipes will exit [on the transom or above it on the slanted part of back of deck] I hope on the transom. I know your tips will fit there.Re invest in the boat? I know that song! I'v started selling alot of my early corvette parts to re invest in the boat. But it's worth doing. We'll talk this week. Thanks Keith

Catmando, it is definitely alot more $ to go white. I remember seeing a cat that was purple and yellow awhile back on the list. It looked great. Any ideas on a color scheme would be much appreciated.

If you're still looking at selling KIS.
