I helped a good friend revive a 2005 Formula 382 that looked much like that. We pulled all the deck fittings and had it wet sanded and in a couple of places re-painted then cleared for just over 7k. Once the hull looks good it's easy to motivate to do the rest of the work. Take the swim platform and other deck fittings and have them stripped and re-powdercoated and you are well on your way.

Congratulations on saving a one of a kind AT

Thanks!.... We are hoping to do the same in terms of the clearcoat but am not sure until we get into it. As me and my group of friends are tackling it ourselves, we are HOPING 10k for exterior, 10K for interior and 8K for driveline...........HOPING!!!

Guess we'll see!

Paint it quickly before you hurt anyone else's eyes besides mine! Get rid of the pastels and never worry about yellowing pealing clear...paint it with imron or awlgrip and never look back.

I actually kinda like the 90's pastel..haha

Has anyone had any experience with a wrap? I know a full paint with anything decent will be 15-20k. My cousin owns a high quality vehicle wrap company and is willing to wrap for next to nothing. He just has never done a boat, only vehicles.

does it hold up?

Are many people wrapping boats or just paint?

Personally I would throw a wrap on it for next to nothing and save your money for other unexpected things. Then in a couple of years spend the money and do a full paint job
