Just a little correction is due here... The 1st race cat that Dave Callan owned was the Jolly Motors 43' Tencara, Callan bought it, and it was re-rigged by Mystic for the Turbines, and the Torque V-12's, but it was not a Mystic hull. Callan and Cosker raced that hull until they tore it up in KW. Dean I was in Merritt Island earlier today.............. At my age, I simply don't remember things as well as I once did. I do recall that the turbine boat that ran at LOTO was a Tencara, and I do remember that boat being destroyed in KW. For some reason, I thought the Mystic was a derivative of that Tencara. |
