What would a 40 expect to run with 700's?

Hi Dean

I was in Merritt Island earlier today..............

At my age, I simply don't remember things as well as I once did. I do recall that the turbine boat that ran at LOTO was a Tencara, and I do remember that boat being destroyed in KW. For some reason, I thought the Mystic was a derivative of that Tencara.

Cash Bar and I have discussed the huge Skater V that you built with 700's. That boat to me was almost as good as it gets (just behind your gold Cat). I was completely fascinated that you could get those speeds out of a boat that large with relatively mundane power. However IMHO, the gold Cat was the most eye-pleasing and well thought-out boat that's been built so far. I'm sure it was as fast as anything out there, but geez man, what a gorgeous boat.

No one knows for sure. Untouched stock 700s…..130ish. Basing this off what I know 40 MTI runs with slightly modified 700s.

Some of his boats don't even touch water, much less become sloppy seconds. Just make him an offer now, I'm sure he will take your 40' on trade.

Joe,
Should have looked me up in the book, was at the house detailing the Snake.... The Mystic C5000 was designed entirely by John Cosker in AutoCAD, 2.5 years in development for Callan Marine, then renamed to Miss Long Lite, then sold to the Geico Team.
Merry X-mas.
