Team saris had ties to that boats history so it wasnt just a case of buying a random hull and starting from scratch.
Id restore an apache over time because I like them, would do it my way, and wouldnt be looking to make money. Ill most likely never have 150k to buy one that runs but wouldnt mind getting the hull and throwing 5-10k at a tine into it when I can over a few years.

I think all too often people who like boating get in the trap of restoring in the hopes of boating, when really the goal should be whatever gets you out on the water boating next year. Planning a multiple year restore doesn't really scratch the boating itch, just draining the bank account.

For me personally, I enjoy the work restoration process as much as using the boat. I guess it's a labor of love.

A labor of love is one thing ,,,what it's worth was the question. And Chris hasn't had much to say, after seeing the popular consensus...It is what it is .

Motor, I sort of knew the answer before posting. Just making sure someone was not stepping up and saying a bare hull no rigging is worth $x or $xx,xxx vs. zero.

I'm always a sucker for a good project its also about what you'll have in the end. for some boats theres no other way then to build it.

I'm not really one to talk about someone taking on projects either. I always have at least one (usually more than one) of my own underway. Just answering a question about value. Chris, For the record ,what hull were you referring to

I think someone was just looking for a friendly head slap to knock the dreamy stars out of his eyes......
Not going to speculate whether for himself or someone else. I agree with most, unless it is a very desirable hull it's value is basically nothing.

I get the feeling from this tread that a old hull and deck is a delicate flower. Until you put in two 850s in the engine room and then it will take anything you throw at it.
...
That's NOT what I said about said Apache, re-read my post.

Unless it's a BRAND NEW hull or a historically noteworthy boat (just walked around old Little Caesar's Apache 2 days ago which is a bare hull and now has a tree growing in the bilge); it's not worth much at all.
Apologise to Sydwayz I was not talking for you if that's what was thought.

What does a new 33’ AT hull and deck with fuel tanks cost today?
