it was mounted on an aluminum pole with guy wire to the cleats in that particular vid. and it is amazing how clean the result is. get that guy in the purple shirt a drink! lol

Maybe I'm a bit different than today's boaters but I'd rather see (or run in) a boat at these speeds in rough water rather than ripping up and down some river or lake at a high speed. Too much glam these days and not enough grunt.

Outstanding. I really like how the ubiquitous wind noise in everyone else's videos is not present here. How did they do that?
