Hey Jeff......good question! When properly restored they function as new. Strong testimony to McManus Apache build quality. Don Aronow taught him, and you get some ice cream for that. Here is an Apache lover restoring one of his little beauties.

Saccenti rebuilds apache boats

Mcmanus builds submarines.... cold war anyone

I gotta say I really like the newer style transom Mark was refurbishing some of these boats with (Carls Warhawk). Hes built some very bizarre stuff over the years. I don't think I've ever heard anyone who has brought a boat to either builder voice anything but high remarks. However, I'm just here for a beer.

I don't know how many times I've watched all these videos...

Hey dreamer that sure is a less than intelligent post. My only suggestion is that you march down to Apache Powerboats and school him with your powerboat building know how. There are so many happy Apache owners and people that enjoy the brand and of course a select few unhappy nitwits like yourself that have to stink up a good thread with a post like that. Reading it is like opening a bag of ripe garbage. It's such old bygone bullchit. But I guess that is what you are all about.

Speaking of them. What are they up to down there? Never hear or see much from them. Especially in the past couple years

BA....The transom you are referring to is nice looking and does serve a purpose. It is for strength, an upgrade for todays increasing power demands. Consider the incredible stress on the transom (Spirit of Apache comes to mind) That's a lot of force!

BA....They do brisk business refurbishing Apache Powerboats. Others like Steve Nykamp would know best, he has great knowledge concerning the boats/company and loves to share it.
