I guess this summer i will get on a boat that can move. I always had HP on a track, I would never try it on a street. I'm wild and our saying" was don't stop till she pops "!! So that's why I cant ride a cruiser on the street. Its an adrenaline that nobody can match so why even mess around or try it. So I guess I need to try it out. Guess I will look for some people around Lake Erie. Does the Coast Guard mess with you guys? I just don't want any trouble!!
because that is reason # 2 . the skanks. Yeah a 50 foot sea ray will land you some skanks .. But they mey be a bit too classy for the life style we live.. lol

And a lot of (gulp) houseboats. My cruiser ran right at 48 with the stock 3 bladed props. Lost some speed when I went to 4 blades. So I can hang with many while running, while the wife is below fixing dinner, and the guest are using the chitter.

if you know your way around a boat and practice good boating edquet and common sense you will stay out of trouble. Best thing would be to hook up with some of the chy town peeps like Mild 12 m Joe or icc dead people. they will show you the ropes of High perf boating and skanks..

My wife and I just looked at a 32 Sundancer at Marine Max, she asked the salesman what the cruise speed was and he replied about 25 mph, her reply, " If we are going to lunch, I would like to get there before dinner." That's why I am having a 496 HO with thru hull exhaust installed starting Monday !

Get yourself a Fountain. They are light, very well tuned and agile. If you get the right power you can get that feeling from the racetrack back.. Trust me i know. When you get a 38 up around a hundred mph it begins to feel really good. Nothing like Turn 1 at Brainerd on a Graves gixxer thou. But its a lot of fun.

If you can swing it, own both! I have a 2007 Sea Ray 310 Sundancer with inboards and thrusters. Boat is loaded and my family and I love it. When I feel like blasting around the bay I got a 30ft single that does 75mph. Im getting bored of my Checkmate 300 so highly considering 30 Activator with 800hp or 28-30 skater or spectre w/ outboards
