The problem with cats is they need power to be happy. If you are only going to run 100 mph get a v hull. A cat needs to air out at 90 mph to get the cat ride. Under that speed cats tend to wallow, bow steer and porpoise. I had 525's in a 32 Skater and hated it. Even with 700's in a 40 MTI I was not impressed. Sluggish. A 40 Skater with twin 1000's is a very good setup.
