She might be reading, she likes the looks of the Donzi but loves the room in the BT. I'm just trying to get her to understand we don't need all that room. The Donzi comes with a filler cushion so we could always sleep on it instead of up in the berth area. I thing the seating area is big enough to entertain, not that we do. So all I need to do is get the camper top and I should be good with. 90% of the time it's just the two of us anyways. The filler cushion does not compare to the v berth of a BT, which is almost like comparing a bravo to #6. I think both are pretty cool boats and I wish you luck on your decision, it’s a tough one. If the GF really likes the BT what are you really missing out on in compromising? It’s not like your choices are the Donzi or a Slow Cruiser. Good Luck with your search! Hope to see you at Boyne. |
We'll be at Boyne. Waiting for March 1st to register, already booked dock at Charlevoix city marina for the week of. Just need to get a boat. :evilb:

Why not just buy a cabin cruiser and be done with it. I would hate to be passed by a single engine boat. That is a real possibility with the BT. Not so with the Donzi.

You have been watching too much Miami Vice! :lolhit: Powerboat Magazine tested the 2008 46 BT with 700's at 89MPH and Hotboat hit 91 MPH.....They're pretty fast boats. 139MPH BT in the LOTO shootout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00ZI75CWml4 |
What would it take to get those 502's to run 70 all day long. Is it possibly with a cam swap and replacing the valve springs and pushrods?
