This makes a lot of sense. If I change the cams I will need Valve springs and it's a blower motor so head gaskets would be smart too. Thanks for your help. Anyone know the sweet cam for this application ( 575 csi).I know it has been spoken about before..I run 5600 rpms at 1285 feet of elevation so It will probably spin More at sea level. I just don't want to by props and stuff. I could spin it to 6 grand and feel comfortable w the bottom end. Thanks again !!

There quite a few good builders who have done upgrades on the 575SCI's. I'm sure rmbuilder has spec'd some cams for them.
Maybe Precision Marine??? and they would probably have an ECM tune already on file.
I would think something along the lines of the 525EFI cam would be very close.
