Ha, I remember years ago I had a 78 Trans Am. No subframe connectors, T-Top car. Was a weekend cruiser. Built up the 400 Pontiac with heads, cam, exhaust, higher stall converter, etc. Took it to the track for test and tune. First time I launched from the tree, I thought the windshield was gonna crack. Made a few passes that night, and put a nice crease in the roof sheetmetal. :angry-smiley-038:

Hey, don't forget the air shocks. Those were worth a tenth for sure. Like the boat bumper. Still a boat tread then.

My last street car had a 7500 rpm 454. ( boat clearenced motor ) i had a huge cam w no low end and a 900 stall (no stall). You push the pedal down skow and it would not spin (highway gears). But when she hit 4 grand all hell would break loose . she ran 12's w 14 inch radials. Just before the trapps i would get it into drive.Yea, it was a she

I had an 03 cobra that made 750rwhp and 750rwtq, 9.90@143, 315 nitto drag radials and i would launch it as hard as i could without a problem, stock irs and axles. Now, the irs is the weak point on those cars unless you hooked. If you broke them loose and stayed in it till they hooked again....BOOM goes the rearend and/or half shaft. Sure do miss the street racing scence!:violent040:

oh and i used to work construction also and had my fair share of busting concrete with sledge hammers.

Must have been magic involved. Did you check in the trunk for David Copperfield and a bunny? :bunnydance:

What kind of product is your buddy coming out with?? We have been toying with the idea of torque limiters by means of a friction plate slip clutch.

Do I have to post my dyno sheets and time slips? Do they need to be notarized?

I think it needs to all be on video with your grandmother identifying you in the drivers seat to count. Nice car.

Those look like alleged facts. Please, we don't need or want those.
