Wow.... Please dont do that to your boat... :lolhit:
Why don't people learn to drive the very expensive toy they bought?

Nate5.0 02-11-2014 01:29 PM

How in the.......what the....?

I just don't get it. I have only had my first power boat since Oct and it doesn't even pop into my head to jam the throttle all the way forward, let alone when the boat isn't even close to on plane yet.

Can't fix stupid I guess.

Pismo10 02-11-2014 01:37 PM

Good for the repair man...

ka0tyk 02-11-2014 01:44 PM

he must have deep pockets. running the throttles like an on/off switch.

Knot 4 Me 02-11-2014 01:45 PM

I know people that might as well have ON/OFF switches instead of throttles. Yes, they have been through a drive or two!

At one point lazer beams come from the sky to strike him down...... But he is in a fountain.... So they don't catch him....

I always "babied" my boats on plane. But, I have to wonder what the rpm difference really is between 1/2 throttle and full throttle when planing???

The torque difference is what kills.
