My father brought me a 16 Glasspar with a 25Hp Johnson on it when I was 13 years old, the year was 1974. The boat was old even then I think from the 1950's, it had the cable steering and a double bottom - two bilge plugs at the transom.

First boat: 1972 Sidewinder (16') with a 125 HP Mercury six cylinder outboard. This boat went 55 mph and was a rocket back in the day!

Current boat: 2002 Daytona Eliminator (36'). This one runs nearly twice as fast as my first one and is twice as long!

Age 20.. Seadoo Challenger 1800 with twin 110 hp rotax. With stainless impellers it ran quite well, high 50's low 60's. If it would run more then an hour without needing plugs I likely would've kept it even though it used more fuel then my current beater
