Terribly sad. Unnecessary and very, very sad. My thoughts and prayers go out for the family. May God somehow give you peace. As another post above said this reminded him of a personal tragedy, same here as my nephew committed suicide at age 19 on 3/1/2004.

Very Sad RIP. Don't understand why anybody would do that without a Vest. We were ours anytime we are in our Skater even if a cruise. It is just not a big deal to wear one.

This is incredibly sad. What has happened to this hobby, it didn't use to be like this! I saw the pic on facebook yesterday about the run, they were all so thrilled.. Positive thoughts being sent to the water for these guys, the responders and the families..
