Ours had a small cuddy. The daughter hung out in there and we just sat down in front of the helm with the full cockpit cover buttoned on (past the helm chair). There was plenty of head room and we stayed completely dry. My biggest concern of buying a center console was what to do if it storms ( here in MI you never know). But I put that concern to rest yesterday. I think I might have a camper cover made for it. It will look goofy when up but what boat looks good with one? I would like to make it go from the cuddy up to the front of the arch. Then also have it go from the back of the Bimini down to the transom. Have screen and eisen glass (sure I butchered that) on the sides. Would make our center a nice overnighter.... But for now we will make due with our cockpit cover..... By the way your boat looked good out there. I actually saw you go past Bobs boat house on Friday evening. I was on one of the service racks finishing up installing a porta potty (our boat did not have a cut out or a place to mount one, so I cut a hole out of the cuddy floor and bedded in a nice base for the porta potty. Now the wife is happy.

I tried pretty hard to get my wife to buy a new CC but she wasn't interested. One of our friends just bought a 34CXX and it's sweet. She didn't like the seating arrangements and since we're down at LOTO we settled on a new SeaRay 350 SLX. Room for 18 on board with the Axius controls. If we ever get a place down south a CC is the boat to have... Jim

Interesting thread. Too many people worried about impressing people they don't care about for sure. I have had my old CC for the last 10 years and is just about to finish restomod number two. Triple 430HP Monty motors on an old 34 Scarab should call for a lot of fun.... It is also fully rigged for fishing, has a cuddy for the kids, and both 12V and 110V systems on board combined with 3 amps and 16 speakers. Whoever said CC's can't be fast and very fun ran out of imagination....
