I actually like the way merc racing did the block and heads in black and the covers and intakes in blue. at least thats how the 525SC's I had were. I think the 500 EFI was that way to. Hate to say it but I would leave the heads ano black, re shoot the block in black and do the intakes blue

Is this an aluminum intake manifold? I powder coated a few pieces on a Donzi and later had to redo all of it with Jet Hot Ceramic, cooler and it lined the water tract through the manifold. With this I had no corrosion issues, powdercoating can hide corrosion.

I had my intakes powder coated metallic silver. I also did all the pulleys silver and then kept the blocks and heads black.

I think the silver would look good with the merc blue!

I know what you are saying they look good with the black block, that's the way I should of done them but to late now. I'm going to stick with the blue blocks.

why did you write "do not step" on the cooling system instead of say, "step on this and i'll kill you, you moron" ? not enough space?
