If you want a boat that goes 60mph, day boating, no poker runs to use while you are on vacation maybe a cc is for you? Very little maintenance, gas, beer and go. Good resale and you won't need to leave it with a mechanic every time you head home. My .02.

You might check on the "South Florida" Craigslist, I recently saw 2 38' Scarab Center Console triple outboards for under 60K one was red the other yellow. They looked like great florida boats in great shape. I will go back and look for links. You may also consider older Scarab Excels with mild power, great lines, roomy, but probably TRS outdrives on most. I've had good luck with my TRS outdrives ...just harder to service, but the product is always rock solid.

Check on Boattrader there are 2 nice '93 42' Fountain Lightnings with trailers $45,900 & $64,800 in Mo. I believe, easy to trailer down, and they should hold those values.
