Looking to cover my dash and console with a carbon vinyl wrap. They sent me a couple sample pieces that look pretty good. Anybody have experience with them or have any recommendations??

I had the center of the grill on my Super Duty with it 2 yrs ago and it has done just fine. There is just too much chrome on these things for me.

3m stuff is very good and easy to work with.

Hydro dip it.....

Calandered vinyl is thick.....3mil

Wrap vinyl is better...1.2 mil....but primer is needed for compound inside curves.....and the longevity is still questionable.

If you want to do a bit more work you can paint it on :) I did a friends Yamaha V-Max. I used the Kitchen drawer liner. first paint the base black, then stretch the drawer mat over it and spray it with a dark grey, remove the mat, clear over it and Viola, Mock Carbon Fiber. you couldn't tell it was fake unless you looked close. If he still had it I'd get a pic but he moved up to a Harley.

The dash is flat and part of the deck, so hydro dipping would be a bit difficult. Its also completely flat asided from 1 90 and one 45 degree bend....

I have whatever you need. Its difficult to do it yourself. If you have a dash panel, send it to me and i'll have my guys do it for you.

Make some dash panels out of real carbon fiber sheets

i used these guys, although i didnt use the 3m, their brand has held up very nicely. http://www.metrorestyling.com/

i did my dash panels and the stinger on the bow of my boat to go along with my interior theme.
