+2 for Mel Surdel. He did a great job with my current boat a couple of years ago.

If the boat is in Michigan, I highly recimend Jim Cukrowicz. I was with him the entire time when he did our Carver and he was on the 36' boat for at least 5 hours checking everything. Had a report mailed and in my hands a couple dasys later, and a fair value placed on it.
