"Unleashed" Cig Gladiator was rolling west on I-74 outside of Bloomington, IL.
You could spot the #5's stagger setup a mile away.:evilb:

dykstra 03-19-2014 07:22 AM

I wonder if it was heading to Pier 57?

Jpzaluski 03-19-2014 07:23 AM

Those are 6's?

#5 or #6 whatever it takes. It's all ball bearings these days.:lolhit:

Good catch!

Unlimited jd 03-19-2014 08:03 AM

Bad catch, they are 5's. Unleashed is the only gladiator without bravo style drives that I've seen. Can't find any solid info if it runs better with the transmissions or worse

cig92 03-19-2014 08:11 AM

I believe TNT made the boat right a few years ago, they even made new boxes for the number 5's

Knot 4 Me 03-19-2014 08:13 AM

You work over this way, Dykstra?

jbraun2828 03-19-2014 08:29 AM

The last glad built has 700's and nxt's. It's for sale at lipship

glassdave 03-19-2014 08:35 AM

always liked that boat, that one and the Wanted Glad. Maybe she is headed to a new home ;)

Keith Atlanta 03-19-2014 08:41 AM

Always liked that boat. Liked the canopy better but I understand chopping it out...

Has to be a magic carpet with 750's - Im sure its a fun boat!

glassdave 03-19-2014 09:17 AM

We raced against that boat in class 2 OPA. Ran a buck five no prob.I liked the fully closed canopy to, i'm sure it is way more user friendly with the open top.

If it was west of Bloomington, they need to turn around!

Could be going to peoria or quad cities? Not to many boating destinations beyond that I can think of.

precisiondetails 03-19-2014 10:18 AM

My friend out where I live (Sacramento) just sold it to someone in Michigan, we ran it last fall, all I can say is radical.

joew. 03-19-2014 10:38 AM

I have looked at that listing hundreds of times. Congrats to the new owner.

Jason3603 03-19-2014 12:15 PM

Congrats to the new owner. The boat looked absolutely amazing. Being the new owner is in Michigan I hope I will see it at Boyne. I would like a ride too!

It was right before I-55 North. I turned off before they got on I-55.

The original post said #6's. Jpzaluski caught it and I edited the post to say the correct #5's.

bulletbob 03-20-2014 06:41 AM

Badass ride and congrats to the new owner. You can easily spot the 6s' over the older 5s'. They have a radiused housing and look really EXPENSIVE$$$$$.

endeavor1 03-20-2014 07:36 AM

I bet the new owner will love that thing!!! I always liked the tractor headers! Sweet ride

Keith Atlanta 03-20-2014 07:47 AM

Whats the weight difference between #5 and #6 drive setups? Is there a difference?

Congrats, ran the boat last year... How was it dealing with Tony?

fantastixvoyage 03-26-2014 07:03 AM

Nice to see the boat is back in michigan. Last owner before the banks lives in Harrison township. Don't believe it handled well enough to be competitive but should make for a great pleasure boat now that the canopy has been removed. Enjoy it!

jbraun2828 03-26-2014 07:39 AM

Wow you kept that quiet. Congrats man, that is a bad azz boat. In my opinion, there's no better looking boat than a gladiator.

offshorexcursion 03-26-2014 09:27 AM

Thanks! Tony seems like a great guy!

Keith Atlanta 03-26-2014 09:32 AM

When is the big shake down run?

jbraun2828 03-26-2014 11:09 AM

Did you drive that thing? Let's hear about it

NevrThrottleBack 03-26-2014 11:34 AM

She was on rails.....as Kevin towed me on I-74 while I sat in the cockpit making engine noises!!! :lolhit:
