Hey Daze....still trying to find out a few things about them, however if the only respondent (cord) to have had a claim with them is going to court, not a very good sign......

Let me give you some more background information...

I had a agreed value of $14,000 on my old boat. I sank it last year and the most they would offer me is $2,700. I'm suing them in small claims court. They have requested a jury trial. The limit for small claims is $5000. They are refusing to pay me just over 50% of the agreed value for a boat that sank.

You're right, the odds so far are stacked in the wrong direction...

Default Insurance company that NBOA uses.

I think they use a Lloyds of London company for their Baja program,check your policy to see who the actual company is.

$1062 for your current boat is certainly a lot higher than the $900 for my twin engine 29. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that you live in Florida and use your boat 12 months a year whereas I live in Md and told NBOA that I use my boat 7 months a year??
