the horseshoe never did that well, the owners of the delray jumped up and bought all the nearby parking as soon as the horseshoe was being set up, which crippled the place from the get go. even the dell rey has gone to crap, you can get a room for 35 bucks if you know the gm gabby, 50 bucks is their new regular rate and they are lucky to have 40% occupancy these days, they use to have a waiting list and 100+ a night, my how times have changed.

colombia is on an upward trend like a rocketship... i just wish i had bought property here 5 years sooner... i just sold 2 places in the last two years here in medellin, made about 20% on each

im moving to cartagena in a couple of weeks to build an eco hotel on mucura island a friend owns... we will have two hotels there, a high end and low/mid end to attract all the backpacker chicas, that cant afford the pricey stuff, it will have a frat party atmosphere, each cabin has a beer bong, and bbq on the beach. the high end stuff, will all be ocean front with a balcony over the water... colombia kicks c.r. azz in everyway!
