Look at the step distances from axle centerlines to get quick reference of CoG & placement.

ZRC: maybe. (If there was a ZRC with a Harry Schoell DDC step under it, I'd own it already.)

ZX: no, but Google Image Search works great.

What is the difference in weight between an aluminum 38ft C Channel aluminum, and a 38ft C channel steel, like say in a Myco? And cost difference?

I totally agree with Sydwayz. I think you'd be much happier getting a better trailer. It will help towing tremendously, from handling, loading, stopping, breakdowns, etc. It should also help with resale down the road. Plus, just look cooler.

I never was a big fan of those cheapy universal style I beam aluminum trailers. I remember seeing a 47 Fountain on one a while back, and that thing flexed like a wet noodle on the road.

My Manning aluminum was about $12k, steel was $2-3k less. I went aluminum for weight savings, but mostly for resale.
