Can you get insurance on your skater? I tried to buy a 28 daytona with 710's and markel would not quote it. I've had 4 cats over 10 years.

That's impressive ! Heck they might swap those out for you just to have a set of 400hr engines back in their possession so they can tear me apart, inspect, reassemble & then put some more hrs on them.

Just bought Scorpion Engines for that purpose. Combine their engineering & technology w/ a proven local builder who already has a racing clientele.
Problem previous to this has been that ILMOR didn't have a BB V-8 business model, now they do!
Keep in mind ILMOR Engineering has the technology & resources to compete anywhere they want but their plate is pretty full supplying reliable engines to all the Chevy Indy Car teams in addition to the V-10 & V-8 marine business.

I pay $2800ish with a stupid high agreed value, including trailer 130mph top speed in the new york area..

BTW.. MY ILMOR'S ARE FOR SALE....

If you list them in the Classifieds or mention to ILMOR it probably won't take long to find them a home. They are good w/ networking people.
