Looks like about $450,000 in new parts and repairs and you'd have a really nice boat.

Pretty cool if that's the Alcone boat. I was at Sterling when he raced it. Was this boat later owned by DeSantis? Seems like I recall him doing a pleasure conversion

Why its stripped would be a good question...... there must be a structural defect, if thats the old ALCONE motorsports hull that boat ran very hard in the ocean for quite a few years. i would convert it to a big hot tub now that would be cool!

I remember after the boat was retired from racing Copeland owned it. It was outfitted with turbines. Some time after that I remember some one posting it being located in Texas...
