"41 Items You Must Grab Before You Go Overboard"

lol On the cover of the new Boating magazine. "Annual Boating Safety Spectacular". The boat's sinking? K, I have to grab 41 things first.

Let's see now. Three 12 packs of beer, pfd, vhf, gps, whistle, flares.

Beer, women, cell or gps, chips, a knife, and ear phones to tune the lady out in an hour.

I would think that if you have time to grab 41 things you probably have time to stop the slow leak that is causing you to sink in the first place.

I'm grabbing some floating cushions and some boobs. Will be all set for a day all the while still doing some grabbing.

Seriously, my Great Lakes ditch bag is a water proof canister with vhf, gps, cell, rope, mirror & whistle; And I'd grab a pfd for everyone if we weren't wearing them. The flare kit is in a separate container. If in salt I guess you'd better take some water too. Those new EPIRBS are cool too but I don't have one. I can't wait to get to the part about 41 items in the magazine!

Our Great Lakes ditch kit better include a survival suit this year, or hope someone picks you up within the hour! Could be 80 degrees outside but the 45 degree water is going to do us in.

Vodka bottles float when empty..... 40 empty bottles + duct tape = makeshift raft....

Note to self: put roll of duct tape on boat.
