I'm still here...don't remember how i stumbled onto the board back in 99 but it was very "lively" back then
i looked forward to logging on to see what was new. Things have changed over the years and mostly for the better...but as with anything else...the bigger it gets the more crowded/opinionated it gets. I just take it all with a grain of salt and try not to let things get me worked up. I mostly just post when i can help people out with something...but i'm here most every day during the week.
Best thing about the board is the people i call my friends....some i have never even met face to face, but have spoken to them on the phone or email and even bought/traded/fabricated things for/with them. Gotta love technology!

Started my addiction back in 2000 or thereabouts as "Budman", but like others, lost that handle somehow and had to go with "Budman II". BTW, has nothing to do with THAT kind of bud, or even the kind you drink - "Budman" was the nickname of my first labradore, "Buddy".
Still have the same old beat up Baja, and hold the record for the longest 489 Chevy build in OSO history.

Sure OSO has changed, but just being a kid myself, I can adapt.
Still check in once a week or so. I posted a lot more back then, but it seems those offshore stories don't hold much interest anymore.
It is what it is, good to see some of the old names still alive....everything else is secondary.
