Funny, after 14 years no one has actually measured the overall length of a Fountain.

Proud dad of 14 and 10 year olds, so I spend more time assisting with homework and other parental "duties". Still a proud member of OSO and will be for a long time. Met Steve and crew way when during my racing days and am proud to say I am a member.

Still check the site often but not as much as I used to. Seen many come and go but there's still quite a few old timers here.

Still check in once a week or so. I posted a lot more back then, but it seems those offshore stories don't hold much interest anymore.

It is what it is, good to see some of the old names still alive....everything else is secondary.

Charlie it's you and the few others that take the time to tell the old war stories that keep me checking in here everyday. Thanks for sharing what you have in the past and please take time to tell a few " back in the days"
when ever you have the time.

Still here, with family, not on the water too much lately. Hoping more next year.

Been here since 2003. Haven't been on a lot this winter but starting to check daily again.

Not so fast, I measured my 8.8 which converts to 28.8728 feet using 3.281 feet per meter. However, when I put a tape from the tip of the bow to the rubrail on the transom, it measures 30' 6", It was NOT a rubber tape measure.

I CALL it a 33 because I added a 2'6" Aluminum Swim Platform on the BACK!

I think I was member number 80.....

FWIW I measured my boat once....from the back of the swim platform to the front of the beak it is 29ft dead on.

You probably measured it with one of those liar fish measuring rullers all you Canadians have in your tackle boxes.
