Congrats and I believe they'll come back tomorrow and up it a little more as well. This really shows you how cutting edge Reggie was in the day. You can bash the beaks, say the engines were this or that but it's taken a long time and a lot of technology and refinements to beat him by just 1% so far - let's see what more they can do tomorrow - Good Luck!

Just saw this boat as they were finishing the swap from the 1350's to the 1650's. Incredible boat. My son actually got a video of it last week running by Scott's hill marina. He only got him on a return pass though not a full tilt pass. Brian had said he hit over 170 in the Intercoastal before he had made some adjustments to the setup. He commented that he wasn't happy with how it was tracking and that's when he aborted the run. Then made the last round of changes. Sounds like the persistence paid off. Congrats Brian, OL and all involved in this endeavor!
