thinking about moving to Miami
Hey Everybody!!!!
I've grown tired on NY. And am thinking about moving to Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale. I'm not ready to up and leave just yet BUT i am investigating how the job market is down there.
If anyone knows of any marinas (performance oriented or not). Or any jobs in the marine industry please let me know. I would love to work as a broker or something along those lines. I would also work as a webdeveloper (what i'm currently doing). SO if you hear about any openings please drop me a line or if you know of any websites or papers that list openings in the marine industry that would be very helpful as well.

Lots of yacht brokers in FLL, they always have openings for someone with experience/knowledge/youth/enthusiasm!(any of the above)
It is real easy to obtain employment here......if you live here, especially if you have some marketable skills, speaking spanish is always a plus.
although speaking english is sometimes an advantage as well
You should just come down here, rent a place for 6 months, pretend you are here to stay and see if you like it.

HOLLY LORD!!!! If only i knew of the drama that unfolded tonight when i posted that this afternoon.
FYI JEN is ok. I am sure she will ell tehfulls tory ina few days.
I am also still thinkign abotu Miami/ Lauderdale so if you have any other suggestiuons i'd be happy to hear them.
