Jway, thats a nice boat and seems like a decent price for a big fountain. I don't know much about the hp500's though. Anyone now the speeds with the 500's? Also, what changes on fountains from 99 on to the newer ones?

97 fresh water, fresh xr's on stellings boxes with fresh rebuilds. Motors are 598 cu in 735 hp. 104 mph. Motors are out and a pair of low hour (20) 540 cu in 600's Keith eikhart (lightning performance) motors going in next week. Boat should run 90 mph, it ran 84-85 with 500 hp's. Interior is mint, graphics are original, cmi headers, msd etc. 4k spent on 03 myco trailer last year. $89,900. 716 628-3912

I am by no means an expert on this but to my knowledge a HP 500 is basically has the same internals as a 502 with a better intake, exhaust, and bigger cam. I would venture to guess that that package would be in the 80's at least and you get the staggered set up which would make working on the engines much easier than a side by side set up. I went back a looked at the pictures of the 35 and 42 and I don't know if it is an optical illusion or what but the beak on the 42 looks quite a bit bigger than the one on the 35. Maybe some fountain guys will chime in, as I am curious if anyone knows how much running surface each boat has, is there really a 7 ft difference or are they closer than that???

And that is also a great looking Outerlimits as well..
