You got good sense of humor INDY mostly to the western end since I come outta the hudson , but try to always make a run to Mysitc & block island at least once a year . I will shout at cha if your still boat less this year & your welcome aboard , always looking for new places in the sound pal

This thread is titled "Reggie speaks out" and was intended to show that Reggie is a class act by being supportive of OL breaking the record, which he 100% was.

I don't own a Fountain and probably never will. But Reggie has done a TON for this sport and is still contributing.

He could have handled this the total opposite.

The reason I was told was that Fountain raised their prices to Outerlimits/Cigarette/Nortech/etc levels due to their performance level but without improving the fit/finish quality of the boats to the others level and it really hurt Fountain sales. For what it's worth, I was told this by the owner of the once largest Fountain dealer in the U.S. in person.

I'm pretty sure they still sell more used Fountains than anyone else so I don't see how it's relevant. I was told to look at bilges of the other boats to see the difference in gelcoat/paint work and he was right.

Fountain did make big strides in their interiors the last few years of production.
