If so, it seems that purchasing a straight bottom boat at a reasonable price, would be perfect if running in the ocean is it's main purpose. The reason I ask, is im thinking of getting a Vee with a cabin just for ocean running. Kind of just thinking out loud. It just seems there are so many great deals on boats that are maybe a generation older in design .

Darrell.

Maybe. I think the fact that you could throw it hard into a turn is a good quality too.

And sum biotch if it aint that same man again.

Was he the best or just the most determined? In any event Reggie holds more of the big numbers than anyone on the planet, and likely will for a whole lot of years to come. Love him, or hate him, you can not take away what he has done.

i'm pretty sure you are incorrect. in fact, you are wrong. the winner would be steve stepp with the record winning cgs ferocious velocity in the 134mph boat done back in the mid 90's like ray just pointed out. yup, he's the man when it comes to making a straight bottom go fast. gotta give credit where credit is due.

The CGS Velocity was fast , she was built to be a race boat .

notda1 05-14-2014 11:12 PM

If Coolerman's Black Thunder is a straight bottom , he runs 140's if I remember right

offshorexcursion 05-14-2014 11:15 PM
