I used a SRW GMC duramax to haul some steel from the distributor to my shop. They put 34,000 lbs of steel on my trailer that weighed 9,500 lbs so a total of 43,500 lbs, it towed just fine.

I hauled a 36 nortech cat on a tilt trailer from Missouri to Florida with a SRW GMC, was alot of weight but oh well, then the day I was leaving someone down there wanted me to bring 10 drums of race fuel, so 8 went in the bed and 2 on the trailer. Was pretty much driving a rolling bomb.

this frame was big and heavy.

this may be a little bit overkill on weight carrying capacity of hauling a John deere.

I had a ford dually that was in the shop so I had to use my excursion to haul the 42' cat to the shootout and it did fine, I did have a weight distribution hitch, they make a world of difference on a tag along. (Never have your girlfriend try to unhook it. she raised the jack all the way then tried to undo the torsion bars, it threw her across the room, lucky it did not kill her)

In those examples the third example is wrong. That would be a class A setup as well. Other than that its spot on. I have had many arguments with guys pulling 14,000 equipment trailers around on a regular class C or D license. They think because its behind a pickup they don't need it. I have a class A, and have a oversize permit up to 120,000lbs and 11'11" wide for my lowboy.
