Just got back from Long Island... Whoah !!! Now i remember why I drive during off peak hours whenever I go out there. Typically the very early morning hours when there are not so many cars on the road .
Over 4 hours for the trip back to NJ .... I should have just stayed until everything closed and then had a nice comfortable ride home...

As I work through processing my images, I just want to take a moment and thank everyone involved for putting on this Poker Run.
It was great to see some much needed excitement put back into Freeport and what better way than hearing some roaring engines on a great sunny day !
BRACCOs was an incredible host. Food & Service was the best !
Billy Frenz of NPBA thank you for all you have done. The Banners turned out great !
Bada Bing, thank you for getting me out on the water with your Outerlimits . (See you in AC).
A special thanks to Chris Ryder along with the rest of the Long Island Powerboat Club committee Bill Carroll, Joe Cibellis, Bill Betz, Joe Sgro and Jeff Cropper.
The event went very well and I hope to see it continue in the future. It was great to catch up with some old friends and talk about the days we used to race out of the Nautical Mile.
The place has a lot of Offshore Racing history.
Jay Nichols, It was great to see you old friend. Glad to see you are doing well.
